We hope you’re enjoying our new format before breaking into the weekly request spot then the 80’s music takes over. Come spring time, we will revert to our usual weekly format with tides and outdoor news etc, but for now keep indoors and wrap up, winter is upon us.

So, onto our weekly double whammy request for this week, this time from me and dates back to the mid seventies when I bought Art Garfunkel’s Breakaway album.

These two tracks in particular, touched me at the time and are still a delight to listen to, clear lyrics, beautiful flowing accompaniment, just awesome stuff.

The first track I chose is one I thought of in a random moment early one morning this week in a waking moment, not sure why, it is called Disney Girls.

Many have covered this including The Beach Boys in 1971 on an album by the same name.

The second track is also as lovely and is entitled “I believe (When I fall in love it will be forever)” from the pen of Stevie Wonder who co-wrote it back in 1971!

Big names supporting each other and what a result.

Hope you enjoy this trip back into the 70’s when we could understand the lyrics and warm to the music.

In our giftlines, we have novelty coffee mugs for a birthday laugh or just for kicks, great fun they are.

Loads more of those travel magnets that look like street signs, on the stand by the counter.

For the hunters out there remember we also just landed those Red Dot Scopes, ideal for the air rifle or rimfires.

Remember our hunting department is all on final clearance so even these new scopes are discounted!
