Location Update July 2026

Hi team!

As you will mostly be aware by now, our retail store in Waimate closed at end April 2026.

This was a difficult decision and took a lot of deliberation, but my age and health issues needed to be considered over the continuation of the shop.

We have returned to our roots doing wholesale and online sales and this has been well accepted although doesn't attract that walk-in shopper we enjoyed for the past 6 years.

We will still be manufacturing our renowned rigs, in surf, deep water, Cod and our specialty, Flasher rigs and these will be found under Hot Shotz branding in our website.

Do go have a browse and tell your mates, our online pricing is less than the retail shop as our overheads are greatly reduced.

The attached picture shows our workspace and assembly centre with stock we had remaining from the closing sale at the shop. That is all reduced to clear too!
